Thanksgiving #1: Paris

Hi all,
Lots of updating and uploading of photos to do... yikes. Here are some photos from Thanksgiving #1. I went up to Paris the weekend before Thanksgiving to celebrate with my American friends from SPU, Nikki and Laura!

Nikki and Laura in the little Paris apt where Laura lives with her fiance, Max.

Thanksgiving food! It's tricky to find all the right ingredients in France, but it all turned out great!
Max and some of Laura's friends setting the table :)
Not too shabby :)
On Sunday, we checked out the giant Christmas market along the Champs Elysees.
Nikki!

There were so many yummy treats to choose from! I went for the chocolate covered fresh strawberries! mmm! You're supposed to choose either white, milk, or dark...but I couldn't decide so I asked for all 3! :)

So excited about my chocolate strawberries!

Starbucks red cups!!!! My 2nd Starbucks since I left Seattle.
It says: "let's share...the happiness of being together"
(and it's a tall soy chai latte, in case you were wondering)

Hanging out at SB with Nikki, Laura, and Marie.

This is an amazing store. It's called Thanksgiving.
It's in Paris. And you can buy lots of impossible-to-find American products,
for outrageous prices! But it's really exciting.

Fall colors in the park!

Christmas window display.
Clever tea bags. Found them in a shop killing time before my train back home.
